Peanut / Groundnut Cake Organic Fertilizer
Groundnut cake also known as Peanut cake and Kappalandi Punnaku in Malayalam language is made from the residual matter leftover after extraction of peanut oil. How to use the fertilizer
Take a handful of Peanut cake and put it in 1 liter of water, keep the same for 2-3 days. After 2-3 days add 2-3 liters of water to the mixture and apply to the plants.
Groundnut cake organic fertilizer can be used as a top or side dressing for plants. It is best to apply before the rain, so rainwater can leach the nutrients into the soil.
Note:- Groundnut cake can be applied directly to soil and also by mixing it with water. In Ant attack prone areas it is advisable to use it by mixing in water as dried chunks attract Ants.
